
Just to be sure, are you referring to just home use, or overall (including commercial use)?'cuz it would chap my arse if I had to use corded drills at work all day (office installations, etc.)But even for home use, it's nice to lug around my Makita Li-ion and not have to worry about plugging in, and the new 18v batteries last an entire weekend without requiring a recharge. ++Cordless have come a long way from the anemic crap they debuted as, but it's still not a problem that needs solving IMO. All my work is just in my garage, or basement, or back yard, so being tied to an outlet isn't really a problem I feel I need to solve. I'm never so far away from an outlet when working on something that I can't just run an extension cord.
